As a German person living in England, there was no way I was staying in the country whilst the world cup was in full swing! It was a lose lose situation for me! If England did better than Germany, then my friends would tease me mercilessly, and if we outclassed them, I would have a barrage of insults aimed at my home country! I really didn’t mind how we did, because it was always the the plan of the German FA that our squad will be much stronger and mature in four years time for the next world cup.

Anyway, I thought that it could be a great world cup for a neutral, so I decided that I would head out there! I managed to find some flights to Durban so that if by some miracle Germany did progress, I would be able to see them there in the Semi Final. If not, then at least I would be able to see the world cup semi final with my very own eyes.

As soon as I arrived in South Africa I felt better. No more friends continually harassing me about what I thought my teams prospects were! The atmosphere there was great, and everyone just seemed thrilled that they were holding the world cup there. I’m so glad I went and I had such a wonderful experience. Who knows maybe in a few year the world cup will be in England – I’m not sure where I will go then!

Christmas is a wonderful time to go for a vacation in Greece. People may not be able to bear the burning sun of the summer season and autumn, but many of the islands have a very pleasant winter and weather will be very cool. The winter air allows people to travel across the islands in a joyful and pleasant way. People will be treated to a delightful experience by spending Christmas in the middle of the Greece travel. People will like Greece because of its fine weather and the well-known spring flowers in the Greek Islands make sure that they are full with color throughout springtime. The flowers are mostly beautiful on this Greece Island, and the enormous number of roads on this huge island makes people to stay in the islands for the longer time. The Greece Island’s wonderful natural beauty is liked by all the visitors of Greece, and there are many local festivities celebrated in order to enjoy, and those festivals are held in the traditional villages which are sprinkled all through the hills of the Greece Island.

One of the interesting places in the world in a sea tour is the city of Phuket, Thailand.  Phuket in the Melayu ( Malay ) language meaning hill, has a variety of beauty among 42 a group of islands owned by Phang nga Bay area. Here, we can enjoy one of the world wonders which is very fascinating in the form of unique rock formations.

The first island we visited was the James Bond Island. The island was famous after the James Bond’s film, the Man with the Golden Gun, was made in that island in 1974. In this island, we can enjoy the beautiful scenery of marble stones.

The next two islands are mangrove islands, namely the Hong Island and Panak Island. To achieve both of these islands, we must use the canoe which can hold three people.  And then, the canoe through the reef to get into the island that surrounded by rocks and over ground by mangrove trees.

Adventures will soon feel when visiting the Panak Island. When the canoe through the rocks, we should be in a sleep position because of the distance between water and rocks is very low. When the sea water began to rise, the body could be injured by sharp rocks.

Not only the beach tourism and adventure at the sea, Phuket also offers interesting shows like Simon cabaret and Phuket Fantasea. Simon Cabaret is played by tens of lady boy (transvestites) with sparkling dress like a festival. Phuket Fantasea is a vehicle for a game that offers a variety of good games for kids or adults. Peak entertainment in Phuket Fantasea is a colossal performance depicting the various cultures of Thailand, including animals that live in that country.

In the near future, I and my family are planning a vacation.  Almost in one year we have not an overseas holiday and I thought this is the right time for us to take vacation moreover our kids have been strong enough to take traveling.  My husband and I agreed to be on vacation on next week by taking a leave at that time.  Not an easy thing for us to have free time together, therefore we promise to make an unforgettable overseas vacation.

I immediately contacted our friends who have been living in the U.S.  We asked for recommendations about a nice vacation spot in Florida as our goal. In addition to our vacation, we will also visit our friends there. Then, she said that at the Best Western Key West, Florida, there are many interesting places to visit. In addition, Key West also has facilities that can spoil the tourists while on vacation.

Finally, all we had planed are arrival.  We arrived safely in Florida. The clear air are welcomed us at that time.  I myself had to imagine a hotel with comfortable rooms, clean, and of course with a large swimming pool.  My kids seemed excited to enjoy this holiday time, so did my husband.

Once arrived, we welcomed our old friend, Ana and her family. How nice it feels. After that, Ana showed a website that contains information about all tourist accommodation while vacationing in Key West.  And for the hotel, our choice fell on The Best Western Hibiscus Hotel.  And our choice was not wrong, all that I imagined there in the hotel. Rooms are comfortable and clean, great pool and strategic location. The hotel staff is also working professionally. They really helped us.

We think the money we spend very comparable with the comfort and satisfaction that we receive. Rooms are spacious enough to both our children move freely. We are also not difficult to find a restaurant or a place to drink. We are also very close to the place called Mallory Square for the Sunset Festival.  However, although close to these facilities, but we feel comfortable staying at that hotel, the noise from outside was not audible.  The large swimming pool with cold water and refreshing makes our tired really missing.  The web site that Ana showed really help us to find restaurants, bar or car rent easily.

My children and husband really enjoyed this holiday, moreover he was able to do his fishing hobby. Yes … in Key West there are several choices of places to fish. Perfect!
